SPRINGFIELD, IL – Jennifer Todd, Democratic candidate for Congress in Illinois’ 15th District, slammed Congresswoman Mary Miller today for backing changes to federal education policy that threaten careers in nursing, social work, school leadership, and other essential professions. Many of these positions are also mandatory reporters, legally required to report suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person to the authorities.
