Mary Miller Needs to Answer for This

Mary Miller voted for this, and it’s going to hurt our seniors. And soon.

Legislation that cuts federal Medicaid spending is set to take effect in 2027. That’s less than a year away.

When she voted to cut funding, concerned constituents didn’t sit still. They rallied together in Jacksonville specifically to talk to their member of Congress about those proposed Medicare and Medicaid cuts. Mary Miller didn’t show up. 

Why is this urgent? Why does it matter right here in IL-15, right now?

Because more than 120,000 people in our district rely on Medicare Part D to help pay for their prescriptions. 

These cuts are a direct threat to our seniors and to the rural health care system we all depend on, the same system Mary Miller represents. 

As a nurse, I know what happens when people lose access to care: more emergencies, longer hospital stays, and more unpaid care for rural hospitals that are already struggling to survive.

I’ve seen what happens when healthcare gets too expensive. People shouldn’t have to choose between their medications and groceries.

Mary Miller voted for these cuts.
She should have to answer for what they will mean for the seniors, families, and hospitals in this district.

This isn’t just about one person.
When our seniors can’t get the care they need, the entire community pays the price.

We need to pay attention to what our representative is doing.

Our seniors and families deserve better. That’s why this election is more important than ever.

But first, we have to continue to build this campaign.
